The Christian Nature of Music is a new book by Abigail J. Fox.

Composer and author, Abigail J. Fox, is on a mission to promote the reformation of music. The Christian Nature of Music is first step on this road. It answers questions such as "What is music?" and "How do we communicate in music?"

This site continues the work of the book, providing a Christian perspective on current affairs in music in Reflections. Where the book alluded to some of the silly aspects of music today, this site exposes the Myths of Music. Where the book avoided controversy, this site Reviews many of the books which have been read in the development of the book.

The book expounds a way of Composing music. It was not possible to discuss every aspect of composition and so this site continues this work and attends to some of the more informal observations on composition. Lastly, the book touches on the undeveloped art of harmony. This site begins to construct a new branch of music, the Art of Euphony.

The second is the republication of the Rev. William Romaine's Essay on Psalmody, Hymns Most Perfect, a timely reminder of the appropriate use of music in the public worship of God. The third is a new biography on poet William Cowper, challenging the stereotype that the Christian artist improves his talent through suffering. Meanwhile, new music is always being written.
